Lakota Aluminum Horse Trailers. Quality & Value!
. |
|

The Lakotas have arrived! Lakotas
are well made, very well equipped Aluminum trailers at reasonable
prices. Lakota
Living Quarters trailers
offer particularly good value, because Lakota does their Living
Quarters conversions
IN HOUSE.
In addition to eliminating the possibility
of a mismatch between a trailer shell that's built at one place and
an LQ package that's installed somewhere else, getting the whole
package from one source is good for overall quality and product
support. Lakota offers straight loads and slant loads as well as
3 models of the
innovative HUT (Horse Utility Trailer), a 2H
slant Bumper Pull with Living Quarters!
The HUT is available in 6'9" width with
11' or 13' LQ and 8' width with 13' LQ. Note Lakota's
clever patented SLEEP EZ tip-out expansion feature - great living
space in a bumper pull trailer!

At Traveled Lane Trailers, product quality
is extremely important. When we first saw the Lakota trailers,
we were impressed by the construction and appearance of the
trailers. Lakotas feature 4-sided aluminum tube wall posts and
roof bows, robust frame rails and extruded tongue & groove
aluminum floors supported by beefy I-Beams. And all Lakota
horse trailers, whether straight load or slant,
feature 7'6" interior
height as standard!
The 7'6" height gives the horses good head room and it adds to
the spacious feeling in the living quarters. Most of Lakota's
8' wide models feature standard mangers with storage below and
dual electric/hydraulic jacks. If you've ever spent several
minutes cranking the landing gear on a large trailer before you
could hitch or unhitch, you'll appreciate the "flip a switch"
convenience of Lakota's standard setup. This brings us to
another reason why Lakota can offer a quality trailer at a
reasonable price - Lakota offers several standard floor plans,
and all models are well equipped in standard form. The customer
doesn't have to specify a long list of options to get a usable
trailer and the manufacturing efficiency allows Lakota to offer
high quality trailers at reasonable prices. And we do want to
emphasize that Lakota is a very nice trailer at a moderate price
rather than a cookie-cutter trailer at a low price. You may
have noticed the two-tone tan finish on the HUT photo we're
using here. Lakota offers optional two-tone tan and two-tone
black finishes that can add a distinctive look to a trailer at a
price far below that of a custom paint job (and the finishes are
baked on, so you can expect them to be durable).
Below are some views of the
LQ interior in the Lakota HUT. There's an efficient kitchen in the
left front of the trailer and a bath with separate toilet & shower
in the right front. Lakota's Patented easy-to-handle tip-out bed
extension in the HUT lets them offer a living space that's compact
and functional, yet with a feeling of spaciousness.
