The Windsor's slightly tapered nose gives it a look that's a
bit different from traditional Kingston styling. The tapered
nose also gives it a bit of extra head room while keeping the
overall length the same as that of the Briarwood. The Windsor
is a 2 horse warmblood bumper pull with a body width of 74"
and body length of nearly 12'. The interior height is 7'5", but
with the 6" roof radius, many folks comment that it looks even
taller. There's enough room forward of the breast bars that
quite a few Windsor buyers purchase an upright rolling saddle
trunk (we sell those as well!) and secure it in the front of the
trailer. Addition of a saddle trunk provides protected storage
for English tack while keeping the trailer weight and cost lower
than those of a dressing room model.
A spare tire is optional on the non-dressing room version of the
Windsor, but that's the only option we ordered on the trailer
pictured here. Everything else shown is standard - a generous
complement of windows for light and ventilation, 2 full-height
escape doors, embossed aluminum gravel guard, LED tail lights,
integrated loading lights and much more. The interior features
floor mats, galvanized kick panels and a padded aluminum half
divider. Like the rest of the trailer, the rear ramp is solidly
constructed, but thanks to an effective (and adjustable) assist,
it's surprisingly easy to lift. Kingston trailers have a great
reputation for safety and durability thanks to robust structure
and careful assembly. Stop by and see why Kingston has been a
favorite of discerning trailer owners for over 40 years.
