Why We Sell Kingstons

Consistently high owner satisfaction.  That's why we sell Kingston horse trailers.  Some people have told us they hate their trailers (NOT Kingstons, to be sure).  A trailer you hate is unacceptable at any cost.  A lot of people have told us their trailers are "O.K." While "O.K." isn't necessarily bad, a truly high quality trailer should be better than just "O.K."   With these thoughts in mind, you can understand why we're pleased that Kingston owners tell us they really like their trailers.  Moreover, many of their friends buy Kingstons, too.  In our opinion, there's no better endorsement of a product.  If you've heard enough,  just remember - Traveled Lane Trailers has the area's largest selection of Kingstons.  But if you'd like a better idea of why a Kingston is so good, read on.  We've listed some of the things WE like about Kingstons.

We like their frames, constructed of big steel tubes.  Big for strength.   Steel for durability.  Why make such a fuss about the frame?  If you've ever had an escape door that wouldn't open, or worse yet, a dressing room door that DID open as you drove down the highway, you can appreciate a rigid structure.  The frame is subjected to more processes than we can remember to protect it from corrosion and electrolysis and then it's covered with a THICK aluminum skin, .050 in.  to be exact.   Aluminum to keep the weight down and because it doesn't rust.  Thick aluminum for durability, quietness and a smooth exterior.  A Kingston looks solid.   Because it is.  And this solidity pays off in the long run.  We regularly hear of 20-25 year old Kingstons in good shape and in regular service.

We're also impressed by Kingston Craftsmanship.  One example. Smooth welds.   We figure it takes more skill to make a smooth one than a gloppy one, and it's also an indication of the overall attention to detail that goes into the construction of a Kingston.  Another example.  Paint.  Or maybe we should say examples.   Such as the clear-coated interior, the custom painted trim and the hand-painted pin stripes.  We'll admit up front that Kingstons aren't cheap.   But we hope you're getting an idea of what you're paying for.  It takes time to make something right.  Kingston takes the time.  They also use top notch materials.

Kingstons are intelligently designed.  They're roomy, in length, width and height.  They have big escape doors.  Lots of windows for light and ventilation.   They're quiet.  The flooring materials provide insulation from road noise and heat.  The ramps are substantial to take the use and abuse of big, heavy horses, but the adjustable leaf spring assist means the ramps can be lifted with surprising ease.   We also like it that you don't have to load a Kingston with options to make it a usable trailer.  Every Kingston is well equipped with standard features and equipment.  We could go on, but you get the idea.

Now, if you're ready to buy that Kingston, remember - Traveled Lane Trailers has the area's largest selection.  But if you need more proof of Kingston quality and durability, we suggest you look at some Kingstons that have been on the road a while and talk to their owners.  We think you'll like what you see and hear.
