If you like Kingston’s Belvedere II, but
would like the added convenience of side unloading, the
Brunswick may be the trailer for you. Like the Belvedere,
the Brunswick has an extra wide 80” body width and 7’5” interior
height. It also has Kingston’s warmblood length stall,
which is 6 inches longer than their thoroughbred-sized stall.
The side ramp is a generous 56 inches wide (4 feet, 8 inches),
so even large horses can exit comfortably. The horse area
is nearly 13 feet long to accommodate the side ramp, and that
added space can be used for additional storage while you’re on
the road (but make sure the items are secured).
The Brunswick comes with a 51 inch dressing
room as standard, nicely equipped with 2 folding saddle racks,
several bridle hooks and a blanket bar. The dressing room
gets plenty of light and ventilation from two 19”x53” windows in
the gooseneck as well as a third 19x53 window in the rear wall.
The dressing room door is lockable and has yet another window.
Getting back to the horse area, the
Brunswick comes with standard side and rear ramps. Both
ramps are equipped with Kingston’s adjustable easy lift assist -
Kingston knows an easy-to-lift ramp can be a back saver as well
as a safety feature. Rubber floor mats, galvanized kick
panels, a padded full stall divider and wall pads are all
standard. Across from the side ramp, there’s a lockable
escape door with window. And speaking of windows, the
Brunswick has 7 windows standard in the horse area – 2 wide
19x53 windows at the stall sides, 2 windows in the rear curtain
doors, 1 over the side ramp, 1 in the escape door and a large
19x53 in the front wall, allowing additional buffered air to
flow from the dressing room to the horses. For even more
ventilation, there’s a roof vent in the forward section of the
horse area.
Kingston introduced a new gooseneck nose
design a few years ago that’s compatible with shortbed trucks
and the Brunswick is equipped with the new design.
Smooth-riding torsion axles, radial tires, bright LED tail
lights, a spare tire and aluminum stone guards on the fenders
are a few more of the Brunswick standards. Each Kingston
features a robust frame for safety and durability, and frame
strength is particularly important in a side ramp trailer.
Remember, there’s a big hole in the side of the trailer to
accommodate that ramp, so Kingston has designed the Brunswick
frame to keep it tracking true. A thick, smooth aluminum
skin with baked-on finish keeps the Brunswick looking great for
years.
We keep a nice selection of Kingstons in
stock and we invite you to stop by and check them out.
