What makes our all aluminum
trailers different from everyone else's? It's quite simple:
EVERYTHNG! Let us explain and we will start with our
walls. |
|

|
WALLS: Unlike most
trailers which have an aluminum inner skin an outer skin and a
frame in between, ours are 2" wide x 6" tall aluminum
extruded planks that are tongue and groove. By sliding one plank
on top of the other it creates a wall much like a log cabin. The
big advantage is that the whole wall is structural there by
making stress fractures less likely. As an added bonus the air
space inside each plank provides an insulation value of
R2. |
 |
FLOORS: Our floors are
one of the strongest in the industry. Our "I" beams
are on 4.5" centers, each floor section is approximately
9" wide, they are tongue and groove that lock together to
create the deck that the horses stand on. Also they are
seated inside of a "C"-channel frame attached to the
bottom of the walls. Can you imagine floor supports on
4.5" centers? |
 |
ROOF: We didn't just stop at the
walls and floor. Our roof is a one piece construction,
that is put on and then the roof bows are pushed into
place. What does that do, it make a nice smooth tight
fitting roof with no flutter. |

SO HOW are the Jamco Series 2000 (J2000)
different from the "CLASSIC" Jamcos?
Well, the roof and floors are the same and the lower 4' feet of
the walls in the horse areas are too. So there are really only 2 differences,
first, the upper portion of the walls is a one piece panel
constructed of 2 heavy aluminum sheets with a 1 1/2" fiber-core
center, all pressed together to create a very durable panel. And secondly standardized floor plans. Unlike the "Classics"
where each and every one is custom built, the J2000 series has
only designated floor plans. Most of the popular models are
accounted for, ranging from 2 horse bumper pulls on up to 4H LQs.
The 2 together create a Jamco QUALITY trailer that's a bit
easier on the pocket book! |

Why not consider a JAMCO some of the most
demanding horse people we know do! |
