The Jamco Competitor I Side Load is available
with and without dressing room. Side and rear ramps are
standard and the 5' width of the side ramp offers an inviting
and safe side entry. The non-dressing room version is popular
with racing and breeding operations. The side load
capability makes unassisted loading and unloading very
convenient. Standard body width is 7' and standard height is
7'6". The standard floor length is 17', but we usually order it
with at least 18' of floor length to allow 10' or more for
straight stalls plus 8' for a box stall forward. This is a
trailer that can accommodate 3 good sized horses (3-horse
trailers are often slants, and if you've ever squeezed big
horses into a slant, you'll appreciate the room this model
offers). We usually equip the Competitor I with 50/50 doors at
the gooseneck opening so that area can be used for storage.
We'll also sometimes equip it with an extra set of box stall
brackets so it can be divided into two large box stalls. A
versatile trailer in an easy-to-manage size.
