Floors: All floors are one piece
and made of a Baltic Birch Laminate (with protective
moisture barrier). Why? To help absorb road shock and
lessen fatigue to the horses' legs. Minimizes
transmission of heat from the road surface, too.
Frames: Hot-dipped galvanized steel
for durability.
Axles/Brakes: All trailers are
equipped with rubber torsion AL-KO axles and Inertia
brakes. No brake controller required in the vehicle.
Sealed wheel bearings (since 1994) mean less
maintenance.
Walls: Solid
Phenolic Core (SPC) walls standard on Baron and
Royal for many years. SPC walls were made
standard on Solo and Prestige in early
2007. Walls on all models are approximately 1/2"
thick for strength. They also have good thermal
and sound properties.
