We’re pleased to announce the addition of Exiss aluminum horse trailers to our offerings. This is another step in our continuing effort to offer quality products to fit a wide range of budgets. The Exiss combination of solid construction and moderate price offers great value. Our first units arrived recently, and we hope you’ll find them to have those useful extras that trailer shoppers have come to expect from Traveled Lane Trailers. The addition of just a few key features can mean the difference between a trailer that’s just ok and one you’ll enjoy owning indefinitely.

Exiss offers a wide range of straight loads, slants, livestock and living quarters models, but we’ve decided to start with their 2+1 models.  The 2+1s have been good sellers for us in our other brands and we’re able to offer them in the Exiss brand for several thousand less.  Starting with Exiss and working up in price through our other brands, we now offer 2+1 models ranging in price from the low $20,000s to the $40,000s.

As is our normal practice, we’ve ordered these trailers with more length than you’ll find on many 2+1s.  The trailers shown here have 19’ horse areas rather than the more common 17’ or 18’.  Our 19’ floor length provides approximately 11’ for large horses in the straight stalls while offering a generously-sized 8’ box stall - plenty roomy for a third large horse, a tacking/grooming area or a nice place to sit out of the heat or rain.  As you’ve probably noticed by now, in the lead photo, the trailer to the left has a dressing room and the trailer to the right does not (but it has a neat feature we want to tell you about shortly).

The standard Exiss ramp height is a taller-than-usual 5 feet, which produces a more comfortable ramp angle as the horses walk on and off the trailer. And continuing with the theme of more is better, you may have noticed that the trailer on the right seems to have an extra wide ramp. It does! The side ramp on the left trailer is 5 feet wide, which is actually quite generous (on many brands, it’s only 4 feet).  But that 5’ wide ramp looks almost narrow compared to the one on the right, because that ramp is 6.5 feet wide!  If you need to load a small carriage, cart or ATV, that 6.5’ wide side ramp gives you much more maneuvering room than you’ll normally find. (Please note – standard side ramp width for these models is 5 feet – the 6.5’ ramp width is optional.  Each of the trailers shown here has a standard rear ramp as well.)

We invite you to stop by and check out our Exiss trailers.  They’re nicely made & well equipped and we hope you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the prices.  Watch our website as we add more Exiss pictures & information.
